Orthopädie Krisam

For over 80 years, the name "Krisam" has stood for master craftsmanship and products of the highest quality.

In 1926 the company founder Johann Krisam moved from Lorraine to Losheim am See, where he opened the former shoe store and the associated shoemaker's empire.

In the 2nd generation Alban Krisam took over his father's business in 1956. Starting as a shoemaker, he passed the examination to become a master orthopaedic shoemaker in 1957. This resulted in one of the first orthopaedic shoe technology companies in Germany.

Since 1992, the family business has been managed by the son Thomas Krisam, also a master orthopaedic shoe technician.

After Philippe Krisam also learned the profession in the 4th generation and successfully passed his master examination in 2011, the company is managed jointly by father and son.
