Optique Milbert in Remich
Our company was founded in 2000 by Serge Milbert, the owner of the establishment, under the name Optik Réimech. After graduating in Optics-Optometry from IORT in Brussels, he completed an internship at Optique Steffen in Esch before taking up a permanent position there. In 2003, the company moved to its current premises, and in 2006, it was renamed Optique Milbert. In 2018, we acquired the company Plus Minus Vision in Foetz, founded in 2016, and integrated it into the Optique Milbert group under the name PlusMinus by Optique Milbert.
Our customers have always appreciated our expertise, skills, and customer service. We offer a wide range of services, from advice to purchase, including precise determination of your visual acuity, as well as the manufacturing of your glasses in our in-house workshop. We strive to pass on this expertise to our apprentices as a training company in the profession.
We offer eyeglass frames from many renowned manufacturers such as Silhouette, Porsche Design, Götti, to name just a few. For spectacle lenses, we trust our partners RODENSTOCK, LEICA, Carl Zeiss, Novacel, and Mont-Royal. This allows us to always provide you with the lens best suited to your needs as a customer. The companies of the Optique Milbert group are the EXCLUSIVE suppliers of Rodenstock's DNEye technology, which ensures optimal and relaxed vision for both distance and near vision. Thanks to our DNEye scanners, we are able to capture all visual defects of the eye and integrate these values into the production of your spectacle lenses.
We also specialize in the fitting and sale of contact lenses. Only professionally fitted contact lenses allow you to wear them permanently. We have a large stock of daily contact lenses ALCON Aquacomfort Plus, ALCON Dailies Total-1, and Coopervision Options-1Day Oxy. Our contact lens suppliers also include Hecht, Wöhlk, Mark'Ennovy, Bausch&Lomb, and many more. We offer daily and monthly soft lenses, oxygen-permeable rigid lenses, as well as special lenses for keratoconus and other pathological corneal modifications. For this, we use our OCULUS Keratograph, which allows us to create a true topographic map of your cornea and adjust contact lenses accordingly.
If your vision declines, we also offer a range of handheld magnifiers, illuminated magnifiers, stand magnifiers, and other magnifiers. We also offer a selection of binoculars and other optical devices from Eschen
