“Absolute caution – unprofessional additional demands! Based on my experience, I can unfortunately absolutely understand the many other negative reviews here. I had to deal with Carpol because a rental car was provided to me through them as part of an insurance claim. Actually a simple matter, but the nasty surprise came at the end. When I picked up the vehicle, it was handed over to me with the tank only about 85% full. Before returning it, I kept exactly to the kilometers driven and the actual consumption and refueled the car accordingly – I even filled in a good liter more than would have been necessary. I was all the more stunned when I received an invoice by mail a short time later. The company actually tried to charge me retrospectively for alleged "Frais de déplacement" (travel costs) as well as a full tank of fuel. I consider such a procedure to be highly unprofessional and it seems like an attempt to rip off unsuspecting customers after the fact. Of course, I did not let myself be fooled and reported the case directly to my insurance company, including my photo evidence. Conclusion: If you value transparency and honest business practices, you are at the wrong address here. After this action, I will make a very big detour around this company's services in the future privately. Don't let yourselves be ripped off and best document everything with photos during handover and return!”
Absolute Vorsicht – unprofessionelle Nachforderungen! Nach meiner Erfahrung kann ich die vielen anderen negativen Bewertungen hier leider absolut nachvollziehen. Ich hatte mit Carpol zu tun, weil mir im Rahmen eines Versicherungsschadens ein Mietwagen über sie bereitgestellt wurde. Eigentlich eine einfache Sache, aber das dicke Ende kam zum Schluss. Das Fahrzeug wurde mir bei der Abholung nur mit einem zu etwa 85 % gefüllten Tank übergeben. Vor der Rückgabe habe ich mich dann exakt an die gefahrenen Kilometer und den tatsächlichen Verbrauch gehalten und den Wagen entsprechend nachgetankt – ich habe sogar gut einen Liter mehr eingefüllt, als überhaupt nötig gewesen wäre. Umso fassungsloser war ich, als ich wenig später eine Rechnung per Post bekam. Das Unternehmen versuchte tatsächlich, mir nachträglich angebliche "Frais de déplacement" (Fahrtkosten) sowie eine komplette Volltankung aufzudrücken. Ein solches Vorgehen halte ich für hochgradig unprofessionell und es wirkt wie der Versuch, ahnungslose Kunden im Nachhinein abzukassieren. Ich habe mich davon natürlich nicht täuschen lassen und den Fall direkt samt meiner Beweisfotos an meine Versicherung gemeldet. Fazit: Wer auf Transparenz und ehrliche Geschäftspraktiken Wert legt, ist hier an der falschen Adresse. Nach dieser Aktion werde ich um die Dienstleistungen dieses Unternehmens privat in Zukunft einen ganz großen Bogen machen. Lasst euch nicht über den Tisch ziehen und dokumentiert bei der Übergabe und Rückgabe am besten alles mit Fotos!
