As part of the construction of a new building in Strassen, we carried out the external thermal insulation of the facade using a complete Weber system.
The insulation, made of EPS 032 expanded polystyrene panels, was glued and fixed to all surfaces, including window reveals and returns of large openings. We then applied the Weber reinforced render system, including the adhesive base coat, embedding the fiberglass mesh, and then a second coat to ensure the flatness and mechanical resistance of the substrate. Specific details were treated with particular care: corner profiles, sill drip beads, reinforcement patches at window corners, and sealing strips around the joinery.
The facade received a primer before the sanded finish render, followed by a final paint application designed to enhance the durability of the coating and its weather resistance.
This ETICS system improves the thermal performance of the building while giving it its final appearance.
