Unfortunately I had a rather bad experience at Garage de l'Est with my Nissan. I'm still a young driver and not very experienced in car maintenance matters. I brought my car here due to a sqeaky noise it made. They did not prevent me befeorehand, when I sheduled the time with them, that I would also need to make an extra reservation for a replacement car during the days my car would be there. I did not know that, so I unexpectedly had to drive around the country by public transport for an entire week. The receptionist was not very friendly and contrary to her promise, did not let me know in time for how long they would keep the car in. She let me wait 1h30 in Junglinster, then I returned to know whether they knew now and the mechanics guy told me that they OBVIOUSLY would have to keep it for at least several days. I waited in vain thus. I wonder if she would have ever called me back ... when they finally fixed it, the car still made the sqeaky noise, they had replaced a piece for which they did not show me the broken piece that was replaced. If I had been more experienced I would have insisted to see the piece. As I had to return to my country of studies abroad, I could not return to the garage to let them fix the noisy bit. I had to do that abroad. Garage de l'Est billed me over 700 € for something that did not fix the problem I went there for. The garage abroad asked me around 450 € (Switzerland) to fix the real problem. I will not return to Garage de l'Est ever again.
