History of the event

April 2000: Opening of the first store in Remich under the brand "Optik Réimech".

December 2003: new premises at the current address: 3, rue Enz in Remich, on the same occasion "Optik Réimech" became "Optique Milbert

October 2006: the opening of the second point of sale in Kayl at 8 rue de Dudelange.

October 2011: modernization as part of the redevelopment of the Remich store

Year 2013: change of Logo by adopting Milbert's "M" and the arrival of many new collections including Alain Mikli (famous designer of glasses), Blac (Danish carbon fiber glasses), Götti (Swiss glasses in high quality cellulose acetate).

Eyewear glasses
You have the choice between drilled frames (without edges) that remain almost invisible, but whose shape can be adapted according to your desires and traditional frames more or less extravagant, according to your choice.

Our ambitions
As a very innovative company, Milbert Optics always has the latest technologies at its disposal, whether in the eyeglass assembly workshop or in the examination room, where Milbert Optics was the first optician in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to install the brand new TOPCON CV5000 refraction unit, or in the field of contact lens fitting where high-performance OCULUS keratographers are used to establish a true "topographic map" of the cornea in order to adapt soft or rigid contact lenses in the most accurate way.

In 2013, the acquisition of an L80 Wave + wavefront autoreferatometer - again for the first time in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg - enabled Optique Milbert to obtain the qualification as "Sehexperte Luchs - Sehen 3.0" awarded by the German lens manufacturer Rupp und Hubrach. As part of this qualification, we enable you to obtain the best visual results through an ultra-performing eye exam based on the interpretation of the results obtained with the L80 Wave +, as well as an ultra-precise measurement of the centering of your lenses using the VINZENT video centering device. The third part of this new visual experience is professional advice and based on your needs by our opticians.

It is obvious that the entire IT infrastructure is at the cutting edge of technology and regularly updated, in order to guarantee good communication inside the store and with the sole aim of protecting and ensuring the maximum confidentiality of all personal data.

The staff is not to be outdone on the company's technological performance, since all the members of our team are opticians with many years of experience.
