Customer service was nice, at least with the representative I spoke with. That in my book makes all of the difference.
Syirrus My car suddenly had an issue with the brakes and wheel when driving in Foetz late on a Saturday afternoon. I took the car to Auto Goedert and, despite being very busy, they went out of their way to make time to check my car for me. They were able to perform a temporary fix for me to enable me to get it to the dealership for full repair and new parts. After all this, they didn’t even ask me to pay as it was “their pleasure” real lifesavers and real gentlemen. We need more people like this in the world. Thank you!!!
Rich Reynolds I have never had such a bad experience with a garage before. I was there for my annual car service and to change the front brake pads. The first thing I asked the salesperson was if they could update the service history in the car computer. He promised me that they had access to BMW software to update the service history. This was the promise. Then I requested an estimate. He gave me two options: one for the service plus changing the brake pads, and another for the service plus brake pads and discs, just in case the discs needed to be changed, which made sense to me. I made an appointment, but on the appointment day, I was told a completely different story. They said if the discs needed to be changed, then they would only do the service, and I would have to schedule another appointment to change the brake pads and discs. I tried to explain what the colleague had told me, but the person I was speaking to said they made a mistake. I asked them to just check and update the disc status. If the discs were in good condition, then they could proceed with the service plus changing the brake pads; otherwise, I would come back another day to do everything at once. We agreed on that, and he asked me to wait 15 minutes for an update. After waiting around 30 minutes with no news, I went to the counter to ask how much longer I needed to wait. The person said they would check and then came back to tell me there was a mistake. Whatever we had agreed upon, I had conveyed the same to the mechanic, but they had already started changing the oil and filter. When I asked about the discs, they said they needed to be replaced, so I would need to come back. Obviously, I was very disappointed. I had specifically requested that they only check and give me an update, but instead, the mechanic had already started the service. The person at the counter just kept repeating their apologies. Now, with no other choice, I paid for the service and made a new appointment. When I returned to replace the brake pads and discs, I dealt with a different person. When I handed over my car, I showed a picture of the service history from my car's onboard computer and asked if this service history would be updated. He promised that the service history would surely be updated. However, in the end, it wasn't updated, and they told me I would have to go to BMW to get it updated. Overall, this garage is full of ignorance. Before the end of last year, I had also had a bad experience, but I didn't write any comments, as I normally don't write negatively about firms in public forums. Unfortunately, the same issue is repeating itself: making commitments without delivering on them.
Senthilvel Kasinathan Had a bolt in the tire. Went there to have a quick patch up which takes 10 minutes. After first asking me the car brand, the sales guy concluded “ah no we’re fully booked for today”. After I pleaded that it’s a very fast fix, he still declined. Went to a garage 15 minutes away, which was also busy. They took me in without an appointment, in between their customers appointments for literally 10 minutes. Overall I believe they could’ve been more flexible, but they were rather lazy
Best Kind So... I hope I will never ever have to deal with this Goedert Foetz... I had an appointment for changing tires, taken since ages ago for 1st of December begining of the afternoon. I arrive because of the traffic which is always hectic in that area *15 minutes late* and I am told by the young "apprentice" that his chief said: - "it's too late to take my car for changing tires. You'll have to reschedule" - I'm sorry? Why? - "Because it will delay others" - Are you kidding? Obviously it won't - I say- because who ever was after me scheduled was taken instead of me, plus the schedules are limited to the given day. Him: "sorry but this is what my chief told me. But ...I can offer you on.. 3rd of December..?" So.. I come on 3rd of December and while picking up my car I hear next to me a gentleman (him as well for changing tires): "Oh I have an appointment , I'm a bit late.." He's answered: "oh no worries."🙂 So now, I am asking the owner of this establishment: Not sure if it's unprofessionalism or misogyny (or both) ? Your service, the disrespect for the customers of people in charge , the customer orientation leaves to be desired greatly. I have wasted my time on Wednesday and once again today. I bet that's what's your vision of quality of service & customer respect.
