Bettendorf Electricity was founded on April 1, 1992 by Mr. Francis Bettendorf and Mrs. Chantal Bettendorf-Reinert in Consdorf. All electrical work was carried out by Mr. Francis Bettendorf himself and all administrative work such as cost estimates, invoices and accounting by Ms. Chantal Bettendorf-Reinert.

In 1997 the workshops and offices were expanded and the number of employees increased to 8. A limited liability company was founded, which the two founders named Electricité F. Bettendorf SARL.

One year later, in 2001, an old farm with barn was acquired to enlarge the offices and workshops. The number of employees had already risen to 15 by this time.

After three years of renovation, the company moved from Consdorf to Christnach on August 1, 2004. With the new infrastructure, the range of products and services has been expanded.

In the coming years, we have focused on training technicians and electricians in specific areas to provide our customers with the best possible service and a comprehensive range of services. This enabled us to offer all the services we have kept until today. A breakdown service was set up to relieve the local teams, to avoid them having to be removed daily for minor interventions, short-term customer changes, emergencies etc. and which is a fast service for the customers.

We specialise in building installations, renovations and new installations for private and public clients, small and large residential houses for builders or other special customer requests.

We have trained technicians and specialists in new technologies with the help of training such as KNX, networks, SAT systems, satellite dishes, air conditioning, alarms or cameras and door phones with network and network connection on the smartphone.

We have been training specialists for photovoltaic systems since 2004. Since then we have built around 100 photovoltaic systems.

Since about two years we employ a new technician, who is specialized in the installation and programming of fire protection systems. That is why we also offer the installation of these systems for public buildings, restaurants or private customers.

The sale of household appliances and light sources has always been another part of our company. In these two areas, we try to work together with our suppliers specializing in the various areas in order to be able to offer our customers the most comprehensive and professional advice possible. Our technicians are also able to draw plans on the computer with the specialized CAT program.

Many qualified employees were recruited to meet the demand for the work. Between 2011 and 2015, more than 25 employees were hired to strengthen the Bettendorf electricity team. Administrators, electricians, electricians, workers, a specialist in parabolic antennas/antennas/networks/alarms, a specialist in fires, etc.

Electricité F. Bettendorf SARL can also count the two adult children of the Bettendorf family, who are just completing their studies to become qualified electricians.

In recent years we have also committed ourselves to taking on at least one new trainee each year, so that we always have at least three in our company to have the opportunity to train good electricians adapted to our needs in order to strengthen our team.

With all these services and the steadily growing number of customers, the number of employees rose to 48 in April 2016. With all these past phases, after almost 25 years in the industry, we have come to the conclusion that it is time to show the outside world that we are constantly changing over time, that we are modernizing and developing. Therefore, since January 1, 2016, we have a new logo that is more modern and better adapted to our constantly changing world. We want to achieve a new positioning with the customer, with a new logo, a new website, new products and services.
