Since its creation in 2002, Lunchtime, a specialized artisanal caterer, has been offering a wide range of high-quality products to its clientele. With our expertise, all of our products are crafted in-house, allowing us to oversee each production step, ensuring impeccable quality.
Our approach highlights seasonal products, emphasizing partnerships with local suppliers and producers. This approach guarantees exceptional freshness in our creations, particularly in our meticulously treated vegetables and salads, free from chemical additives.
Committed to a health-conscious approach for our customers, we exclude preservatives and colorants from our recipes. Our motto remains "always fresh and natural."
Our 900 m² production center adheres to the strictest food hygiene standards. Maintaining the cold chain is a priority at every stage, from production to logistics. Our production spaces are maintained at appropriate temperatures, and our vans are equipped with remote-monitored refrigeration units.
Our production team is trained and equipped according to food safety requirements. Regular checks, including unannounced inspections by LLUCS (Luxembourg Laboratory for Sanitary Control), ensure the maintenance of our high standards.
At the core of our approach, production optimization aligns with our environmental commitment. By producing exclusively on demand, we reduce food waste, contributing to ecosystem preservation, considering that agriculture accounts for a significant portion of global water consumption.
Excess production is intelligently redistributed, either at our Lunchtime store at the CFL Funicular station in Kirchberg or to charitable organizations.
Each step of our process is designed to minimize our environmental footprint. From the cleaning of our facilities to the use of biodegradable products, along with optimized logistics, sustainability is central to our actions.
We invest in innovation, particularly in transportation. Our electric vans, equipped with solar-powered refrigeration systems, underscore our dedication to a sustainable future.
Environmental responsibility is also evident in our packaging choices. We favor recyclable and compostable materials, thus minimizing our impact on the planet. We encourage our customers to participate in this movement by sorting our packaging after use.
Lunchtime also stands as a pioneer in e-commerce, providing eco-friendly and transparent payment solutions. We reward participation in our SEPA payment system with significant benefits, while also offering durable stainless steel cutlery solutions.
Since our creation in 2002, Lunchtime has carved its identity as an environmentally conscious company adhering to quality standards. Our commitment has been acknowledged with the "Made in Luxembourg" label. Founded in 2002, Lunchtime made history by becoming the first online catering company in Luxembourg, and perhaps even in Europe. In 2014, our director, Ms. Lieve Nuyts, was honored with the "Inspiring Woman in Entrepreneurship" award, sponsored by PWC.
Lunchtime remains grounded in the present while projecting towards a responsible and sustainable future.
