In the installations of the "large building" (administrative and public buildings, banks, computer centers, data management centers, sports facilities, schools, hospitals, communication centers, exhibition halls, industrial sites, waste dumpsites, biomethanisation stations, etc.), cogeneration systems are used to meet both electrical and thermal energy needs, either for on-site consumption or for remote consumption via the electricity and hot water networks. This technique now makes it possible to operate with cumulative yields ranging from 77% to 89% using the most environmentally friendly fuel, natural gas and biogas.
