Den Daachdecker Sàrl
History of our company:
"Den Daachdecker" was founded in 1992 in Vichten by Raymond Nesen and Patrick Kraemer.
In 2002 we started the construction of a hall in the neighboring village.
In 2003 we moved to our own hall in Michelbouch.
In 2012, we carried out the following work at our "20 years" party:
From 2002-2012 we installed 18,800 meters of gutters, 9,200 m² of zinc roofs, 44,820 m² of slate and 18,381 m² of bricks.
In February 2015 Raymond and Patrick decided to stop working together and Patrick left the company after 23 years. Since then, the company has been managed by Raymond and Léa Nesen. A technician was also hired.
Our way of working has changed in these 23 years. In the beginning our main task was slate covering. Over the years, zinc has become more modern and the demand for zinc has increased rapidly. 23 years ago we hired only roofers - the plumbing was carried out by the bosses - at present we employ 4 plumbers, 3 carpenters, 6 roofers, an apprentice roofer and a technician. The boss has one master roofer and one plumber.
Another change brought the insulation. We have decided to produce the entire insulation with the natural cellulose product. After the training we are a certified company " Isocellulose qualified insulator ".
