Laser hair removal is an effective and proven method. Thanks to it, you will obtain a definitive and uncomplicated destruction of the follicle.

The results are good and 90% satisfactory for the people treated. This satisfaction rate is primarily a function of the experience of the certified practitioner and the treatment parameters he or she will choose for each case.

The laser is a medical device whose precise adjustment (made by a certified practitioner according to the skin of each patient) guarantees effective treatment. It is essential that your practitioner take the necessary precautions and follow certain rules to ensure that the treatment is safe.

The laser emits light that is transformed into heat when it is absorbed by the pigmentation of the hair and carried to the tip of the root. This energy will be sufficient to destroy the hair and its bulb (the root of the hair), while respecting the surrounding tissues (the epidermis). As the hair follicle is destroyed, it can no longer produce hair. This process is painless and totally effective.

The hair capital per person is 5 million hair follicles (1 million on the head and the rest on the body). Each laser shot (1 per second) is capable of destroying 150 hair follicles present in an area of 1 cm², making it a very fast and effective method. The hair cycle has a lifespan of 18 months, which is why the part must be laserized several times in order to remove all the hair in the anagen phase.

Following laser hair removal, the hair follicle can react in 3 ways: - it has been destroyed and will no longer grow back, you got rid of it! - he did not suffer: either it was not the right time of his cycle or the treatment was not energetic enough. - he has suffered lesions that do not suppress his regrowth but compromise it. During its regrowth, a miniaturization of the hair is observed.

The treated people then notice a decrease in hair density, but also a refinement of the hair. Most often this effect concerns the longest rooted hairs (up to 5 mm from the skin surface). As it grows back, the bulb moves closer to the skin surface, making the hair more vulnerable the next time it is used. The resting follicles are empty of melanin and therefore "invisible" to the laser. They will therefore not be altered by the laser. It will be necessary to wait until they return to the "active" phase in order to be able to process them effectively.

This is why laser hair removal must be repeated several times in the same area. Indeed, only part of the hair follicles is active at any given time. After the treatment, a calming and regenerating cream such as Biafine should be applied at a rate of 2 to 3 applications for 2 days.

This process does not cause cancer because the light emitted is visible and infrared light, it is safe for the body. The treatment of the area concerned is spread over a period of 8 sessions, spread over a minimum of 3 years: - 4 sessions in the first year - 3 sessions in the second year - 2 sessions in the third year No more unsightly hair, no more hair under the skin, folliculitis, pubic infection, razor burn...
