Paid 400 euros for an oil change.. I don’t think this price is realistic

During our holiday we stranded in Mersch with high engine temperature, a quick look under the bonnet showed a ruptured coolant hose. We got towed to Garage Muller by the ACL and arrived there late afternoon on a Tuesday. Thanks to the flexibility and efforts of Garage Muller the car was repaired on Thursday and we were able to drive home with our own car without further issues! Thanks! Some more info: upon arrival Tuesday afternoon, I was initially informed that first opportunity for a full diagnosis would be on Friday. After initial struggle with a language barrier (I don't speak Luxembourgs and my German is very poor) I managed to explain that the issue was very likely simple (a ruptured hose), was probably easy to repair and we discussed that having a diagnosis on Friday would not be in time for repair before our drive home on Saturday, leaving a mess to sort out with rental car, repatriation of the stricken car, luggage and so on. The people of the garage showed their understanding, flexibility and capabilities: the car was looked at Tuesday late afternoon of the arrival, the broken hose identified and an OEM hose was swiftly ordered. The part arrived on Thursday around lunch, and the car was ready that Thursday end of day. Thanks to the flexibility and efforts of Garage Muller the car was fixed and we were able to drive home with our own car without further issues!

I had a bad experience with this garage. I had recently moved to Lintgen and had an oil leak and wanted a noise investigated that sounded like it was coming from the wheels. The did not call me to give me any idea of the potential price and when I called they said it would be around 200 euros. When I went in to pay it was just over 400 euros. They said they had investigated the noise and found nothing wrong on the right side of the car. Then a few days later I noticed some oil drips on the floor under the car so I went back and explained that I wanted it checked since they had just fixed the leak and yet I could see oil on the garage floor again, Again they did not call me I had to call them to find out hen it would be ready and what the problem was - they said it was just old oil from before and they had cleaned the engine again but I needed two new tyres and I asked for quotes for winter tryes. When I turned up they charged me 60 euros to have cleaned the engine - I had already paid over 400 euros for the same work and I explained that I wasnt happy to be charged for something they should have done right the first time. They said they would take the price off my winter tyres when I came back in. However the quotes they gave me for tyres we almost double of quotes I received at a tyre place in Mersch so I did not go there and explained I had completely lost confidence in the company. On top of that I failed my control technique two weeks later because the break discs were damaged on the right side ( you could see this with the naked eye , I just didnt know what I was looking for) and this is what was making the noise I had asked them to investigate - they either had not bothered to look into it or they are inexperienced as it was obvious to me when pointed out to me at the control technique. Very poor customer service, quality of work and I feel I was completely ripped off and overcharged so I really could not recommend this garage to anyone.

Very good service at a low price. The flat tire was repaired quickly, efficiently and cheaply. The staff do not speak English, but they are kind enough to communicate with them without any problems. The car was ready on time.

Very bad service, unfriendly, rude staff. And for those who only speak english, avoid this garage like death. They rip you of your money, too. Made an appointment for control technique. I failed just because I missed to pay the tax and they did not even check my car at all. Charged me the full 40eurs service fee without even doing anything and just because they blocked the time for my car. Is that even legal??? Beware of this garage.
