Privacy Principles of FDA Services Sàrl

FDA Services Sàrl takes data protection seriously. In accordance with the data protection policy implemented in our company, the following five principles form the basis of our approach to protecting your privacy:

2- You have the right to be clearly informed about how we use your personal data. We are always transparent for you as to what data we collect and how we use it.

Implementing your consent

When collecting personal data that do not result from a legal or contractual obligation, FDA Services Sàrl informs that their transmission is optional and implies, as soon as they are transmitted, consent to their further computerized processing by FDA Services sàrl in compliance with these conditions.

 


How do we collect your personal data?

In these privacy rules of conduct, your “personal data” means one or more pieces of information that could identify you. This generally includes information such as your name, address, identifiers, profile image, email address, and telephone number, but may also include other information about your past or current business activities. We may collect this information from a variety of sources, including:

How do we use your personal data?

We use your personal data within the framework of the overall management of the activities of our organisation, i. e:

1. to process the service contracts concluded with you;

2. to offer you services;

3. to enable the craft enterprises represented on the platform to offer you products and services.

4. to manage the settlement of our services as well as your invoices within the framework of our accounting;

5. to build up a customer database.

If we collect personal data only for these purposes, we will not store it for longer than necessary to fulfil this purpose, unless we have to keep it for legal reasons. Our CMS gives you direct access to your data, which you can edit or delete yourself.

To protect this data from accidental or malicious destruction, when we delete it from our services, we may not immediately delete any remaining copies of our servers or backup systems.


With whom do we share your personal data?

As a general rule, we do not share your personal data outside FDA Services Sàrl. However, as part of the management of the represented craft businesses on wedo.lu, we will communicate your data to the FDA ASBL for verification of your membership status which is the prerequisite to your participation on wedo.lu.

 


Do we transfer your personal data to other countries?

We do not transfer any of your personal data to servers outside Europe and we use subcontractors who undertake to keep your data on European territory. In terms of a change in policy, this transfer will be done in compliance with privacy laws and you will be informed.

How do we protect your personal data?

We take all reasonable precautions to keep your personal data secure and require any third party who handles or processes your personal data for us to do so.


Specific use of your data

Cookies

Use of Google Analytics

Our site uses Google Analytics. This service is used to analyze access to Google Inc. websites. “(“Google”) and allows us to improve our presence on the Internet. The information collected by means of a cookie (IP address, access time, access duration) is transmitted to Google’s servers in the United States and stored there. The evaluation of their activities on our website is sent to us in the form of reports. Google may also transfer the collected information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf.

However, the Google tracking codes in our website use the “anonymous” function, so IP addresses are only shortened to exclude a possible direct personal relationship with you.
